The Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association Queensland (ACLCA) is the peak body representing contaminated land professionals in Queensland and nationally. Our Director helped establish the Qld Branch and was the inaugural Secretary, and continues to be active including the recent delivery of a technical presentation on asbestos guidance and legislation. Our people, as part of a ACLCA sub-committee, assisted the Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES) with the development of revised guidance, including the 2018 Queensland Auditor Handbook for Contaminated Land and a number of ACLCA Qld specific guidance documents for the benefit of its members and DES, including:
