• Location: Brisbane Airport
  • Client: Architectus/Qantas
  • Scope: Assess the contamination status of soil to be excavated during upgrade works

Minimal disruption to business was Qantas’ key requirement for the upgrade to their international freight terminal at Brisbane Airport. With a reconfiguration of the main entrance, nearly doubling available parking facilities and a brand-new internal weighbridge the last thing the project needed was delays from unexpected contamination.

Our sampling and analysis program including coring through suspended concrete slabs to access soils and provided certainty for Architectus as part of finalising the design and construction program.
